For patients taking antiplatelet/anticoagulant medications or dietary supplements: Stop taking these at least 7 days before surgery.
 Nail polish or artificial nails: Please remove them before hospital admission.
 Jewelry or metal implants: Must be removed before coming to the hospital.
 Dietary restrictions: Consume soft foods, avoid spicy foods, and refrain from eating vegetables for 2 days leading up to the surgery.
 Regular medications and CPAP device: Bring these to the hospital if applicable.
 Smoking and alcohol: Strictly avoid all forms of smoking and alcohol 2-4 weeks before surgery, as they may cause inflammation or gastric ulcers. 
Failure to comply may result in surgery cancellation.
 Fasting: Do not eat or drink for at least 6-8 hours before the surgery.
 Illness or symptoms: If you experience fever, coughing, or sore throat, inform your doctor before your scheduled hospital admission.
